There is a place for you here! The goal for our recovery center is to provide hope through individualized, supportive, and compassionate care while sharing the love of Jesus Christ to those who are suffering from an addiction. Our facility will serve adult women from Rock County and the Stateline area. Although we are a faith-based program, we will not discriminate against religious or spiritual views. Our Board will search to secure team members that believe in treating each client’s underlying core problems to help them heal emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically. Our aim is to provide the tools needed to achieve and sustain recovery and to be self-reliant through providing addiction counseling, while transforming lives in the areas of financial accountability, stress and anger management, and community interaction.

Our residents will participate in group sessions along with individual sessions throughout their time at Restorations. Our group sessions will focus on Biblical truths and educate the resident on the science of addiction while incorporating coping skills that will create new neuron pathways in the brain. Each resident will have individual counseling that will focus on past traumas and their individual recovery needs. The residents will additionally have an advocate that will work with them in an individualized treatment plan, focusing on goals to increase the rate of success. Because addiction affects so many relationships, there will be a focus for residents, when possible and beneficial, to mend familial relationships. Residents with children will have intensive parenting classes and training through Willow Women's Center's-Love and Logic program. We recognize the need for social interaction, and we will incorporate monthly activities as a group where children and extended families are invited to attend with the residents. This will teach residents how to socialize in healthy social situations. Healthy relationships will be an additional focus, concentrating on overcoming co-dependency, anger management, and manipulation.

Restorations will provide education on health. We will give attention to the physical effects of drug and alcohol abuse and addiction. We will incorporate education and practices for a healthy lifestyle, which include proper diet, exercise, proper sleep, stress reduction, prayer, and corrective thought patterns. The residents of Rock County Restorations will be given temperament and skills testing. These results will assist us in knowing areas that the resident needs educational tutoring and to assist in career counseling. During the third phase the resident will do in house career exploration. In or about the 5th month residents will be required to work 20 hours a week outside of the facility. If a resident is unable to work due to disability, they must find a place(s) to volunteer those 20 hours per week. It is our goal to have local businesses employ and train these individuals in a career that they will enjoy working in and be proud of. This will teach a work ethic and introduce them into healthy lifestyle patterns and build their self-esteem. After the residents begin working, they will be required to participate in a financial course that will be taught by a financial institution, where sound principles of budgeting and credit repair will be a focus. The resident will have ongoing supervision of financial responsibility throughout the time at Restorations and through the period of their one- year sober living. Additionally, those lacking a diploma, or a GED will have the opportunity obtain these. Restorations will also assist those that desired to attend college or tech school to apply for financial aid and scholarships. Residents that meet the age requirement will be offered Job Corps as an option as well. Rock Co. Restorations will also dedicate time to educate residents on life skills. Our residents will have an opportunity to learn these skills while supporting the facility through meal preparation, grounds maintenance, homesteading skills, and cleaning. Prioritizing their needs and time management will be a component of this as well. READ LESS
