There will be a place for her! The goal for our long-term recovery center is to provide hope through individualized, supportive, and compassionate care while sharing the love of Jesus Christ to those who are suffering from substance abuse disorder. Our residential facility will serve adult women from Rock County and the Stateline area. Although we are a faith-based program, we will not discriminate against religious or spiritual views. Our staff will recognize each client’s underlying core problems to help them heal emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically. Our aim is to provide the tools needed to achieve and sustain recovery and to be self-reliant through providing addiction counseling, while transforming lives in the areas of financial accountability, stress and anger management, and community interaction. Rock County Restorations Recovery Center will utilize a Christ-centered, faith-based curriculum while still using proven scientific methods of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Our program will take approximately one year to complete. Our facility will give women the skills and time to overcome the obstacles that prevent them from being self-reliant. Partnering with other organizations will ensure women and moms have the tools they need during and after their one-year stay with us to have the support they need to continue a successful journey through recovery.

Our residents will participate in individual and group sessions that will focus on Biblical truths and healing from past traumas. Their advocate will work with them on an individualized recovery plan and focus on overcoming overcoming co-dependency, anger management, and manipulation. Because substance abuse disorder affects so many relationships, there will be a focus for residents, when possible and beneficial, to mend familial relationships, additionally intensive parenting classes and training. Monthly social activities will teach residents how to interact in healthy social situations.

We will give attention to the physical effects of drug and alcohol abuse. We will incorporate practices for a healthy lifestyle, such as proper sleep, proper diet, exercise, stress reduction, prayer, and corrective thought patterns. As the residents of Restorations progresses they will be required to work 20 hours a week outside of the facility. If a resident is unable to work due to disability, they must find a place(s) to volunteer those 20 hours per week. It is our goal to have local businesses employ and train these individuals in a career that they will enjoy working in and be proud of. This will teach a work ethic and introduce them into healthy lifestyle patterns and build their self-esteem. After the residents begin working, they will be required to participate in a financial course where sound principles of budgeting and credit repair will be a focus. The resident will have ongoing supervision of financial responsibility throughout the time at Restorations and through the period of their one year sober living. READ LESS
